Facing PSS Sleman, Persipura Must Win To Keep The Chance Of Escaping From The League 1 Relegation Zone
JAKARTA - Persipura Jayapura is trying to escape the relegation zone of the Indonesian League 1. For this reason, Persipura is targeting to get full points in the remaining three matches.
One match that will be passed by Persipura is the match against PSS Sleman, Sunday 20 March. Persipura coach Angel Alfredo Vera said his team wanted to get another positive result when they faced PSS Sleman in the 32nd week of the Indonesian League 1 at Kompyang Sujana Stadium, Denpasar, Bali.
From the Indonesian League's official website quoted by Antara, Angel said he was eyeing three points in the match against PSS in order to keep their chances of escaping the threat of relegation.
In addition, Angel said Persipura will focus on the match against PSS first and his team has the ambition to sweep away victory in the remaining three matches of the Indonesian Liga 1 this season.
"We have to focus on the game, what we have to do. We don't want to rush, we have to know what we need," said Angel.
The Argentine coach continued to say, Persipura will try to show their best game so that at the end of the match they are able to secure a positive result.
Angel continued to say, PSS is a team that has a fast attack from the flank and often relies on Brazilian striker Wander Luiz on the front lines as the pounding interpreter, but will still be wary of the Java Eagle Super Team as a team.
"It's very important we have to play like we should play. Later the results will come automatically if we do everything on the field well," explained Angel.
"Yes, they are all working teams, want to work and what is certain is Wander Luiz. The other players definitely want to win," he continued.
