Decapitated Releases New Single About Disproportion Between Dreams, Ambitions And Aspirations Of Humanity

JAKARTA - Polish technical death metal band Decapitated will release their eighth studio album, Cancer Culture, on May 27 through Nuclear Blast Records. The album's first single which is a title track has been released.

Decapitated guitarist Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka said it wasn't easy to choose Cancer Culture's first single because each song has a different vibe that they want to show off as soon as possible and they're proud of it.

"Since Cancer Culture is the first song off the album, we decided that this would be the perfect way to introduce you to new music. This is the album's opening chapter, and you know, what you can expect," Vogg said. , March 20.

"Finally, after waiting for months, we got it. Announcement of our new album Cancer Culture and new single has been released!" he continued.

In this song, the lyricist Jarek Szubrycht, talks about the disproportion between dreams, ambitions, and aspirations of humanity. While the main engineer is Tomasz Zed Zalewski (Anticult), David Castillo is responsible for mixing and Ted Jensen is in charge of mastering.

For the cover, Decapitated is now working with Fabio Timpanaro, an Italian artist who perfectly depicts what they want to convey through visual art.

"Don't misunderstand the meaning of the album's title. It has a much broader context. You'd be surprised what we have to say this time," said Vogg.

"Expectations were high, and we also gave ourselves a big challenge with this album. But I think the hard work paid off."
