Champions League Quarter Final Draw Results: Chelsea Vs Real Madrid, City Vs Atletico

JAKARTA – The results of the 2021/2022 European Champions League quarter-final draw have been completed. Real Madrid and Chelsea directly clashed in that round.

The draw will be held on Friday, March 18th, WIB. Later the Blues will become Madrid first on 7 April before visiting the Santiago Bernabeu a week later.

The next English giants Manchester City also got opponents from representatives of Spain. Pep Guardiola's team will meet Madrid's city rivals, namely Atletico Madrid.

The first leg of the match will take place at the Etihad Stadium, while the second leg will be played at Atletico's headquarters at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Meanwhile, the German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, will meet the dark horse team Villarreal. As for Liverpool, they will be challenged by representatives from Portugal, namely Benfica.

According to the schedule, the first leg of the quarter-finals will take place on April 7th. Meanwhile, the second leg match will be held on April 14.

The first leg of the semifinals will take place on April 28 and the second leg will follow on May 5. Then the final party of this competition will be held on 29 May.

The final of this prestigious European competition will be held at the Stade de France Stadium. Previously the final was scheduled to take place in Russia, but the conflict with Ukraine made UEFA decide to move the location of the match.
