The Rider's Bike Is Dusty And Muddy After FP1 Moto3, Aspar Team: “Motocross” Free Practice

JAKARTA - Aspar Team complained about the track conditions at the Mandalika Circuit after their racers underwent free practice 1 (FP1) on Friday, March 18 morning.

The complaint arose because before the Moto3 FP1 took place in the morning, the circuit was rained quite heavily. So that after the motorcycle race the riders they look dirty.

Through uploads on his Twitter account, Aspar showed the condition of his motorcycle racer, Izan Guevara, which was dirty due to sand and dust. Accompanying the upload, Aspar quipped that FP1 actually looks like a motocross event.

"First free "motocross" practice in progress!" wrote Aspar Team on the official Twitter account.

MotoGP racers complained about the condition of the Mandalika Circuit track while undergoing a pre-season test session in February. The heavy rain that fell made the track dirty and some parts of the asphalt easily peeled off.

After the pre-season test, the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) immediately moved quickly to make improvements. Repaving was also carried out in a number of parts, especially before Turn 17 until after Turn 5.

Now, the condition of the Mandalika Circuit track is much better than the previous MotoGP pre-season test. Although there are still complaints about the dirty track after it rained, before the session was held a number of seasoned MotoGP riders stated that Mandalika is now getting better.
