Two Days Opened, Patients Isolation Tower 4 Wisma Athlete Already Filled 34 Percent

JAKARTA - The isolation area for COVID-19 patients in Tower 4 of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta has been open since Monday, September 21. After just two days of opening, the use of isolation beds has reached 34 percent.

Based on data from the Public Communication Team for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, currently there are 527 isolation patients in Tower 4 of the Self Isolation Flat. They were all asymptomatic (OTG) patients.

"There are still 1,019 beds, or 65.92 percent, of the total capacity of 1,546 beds for OTG patients who do not have a place for independent isolation," wrote the statement from the Public Communication Team for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force on Wednesday, September 23.

Meanwhile, currently the use of beds in Tower 5 Wisma Atlet has been filled with 1,445 OTG patients from a total capacity of 1,570 beds. This usage counts since the opening of Tower 5 on Friday, 11 September.

"This means that Tower 5 has been filled with 92.03 percent and there are still 125 beds of 7.97 percent," he said.

As for the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSD), Wisma Athlete which is located next to the Self Isolation Flat, a total of 480 beds are still available. In details, there are 310 beds in Tower 6 and 170 beds in Tower 7.

In percentage terms, the use of the Wisma Atlet Hospital care bed which is filled with positive COVID-19 patients has reached 83.32 percent or 2,398 beds, out of a total capacity of 2,878.

In details, there are still 310 beds in Tower 6 of 1,300 capacities with 76.15 percent usability, and there are still 170 beds out of 1,578 capacities with 89.22 percent usability.
