Food Station Affirms Support For New Regulation Of The Ministry Of Trade Concerning Packaged Cooking Oil

JAKARTA - The government has set a new packaged cooking oil price policy. In this policy, packaged cooking oil will be adjusted to the economic price.

The determination of the highest retail price (HET) for packaged cooking oil of Rp. 14 thousand will be revoked and submitted to the market mechanism. The DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya has adjusted to the new provisions.

"With the issuance of the new regulation, for the time being we will not carry out the sale of cooking oil in low-cost market activities until an undetermined time and for cooking oil we will adjust to the new provisions," said Food Station President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo, Thursday. March 17th.

In line with the new provisions, currently the supply of cooking oil has been re-circulated in the community. Meanwhile, stock conditions have started to stabilize and are full on store shelves in both traditional markets and supermarkets.

"Conditions have started to stabilize and the supply is already full," he said.

As additional information in order to welcome the HBKN Religious Holiday, there are a number of food security programs carried out by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, including organizing cheap market activities to help the community provide food with good quality and affordable prices.

"In addition, we provide basic food packages ordered by individuals and business entities. We hold cheap markets every day in urban villages and serve bazaar requests by relevant agencies, while basic food packages are provided because demand usually increases before fasting and Eid," said Pamrihadi .

Pamrihadi explained, the cheap market in this kelurahan is a form of commitment from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Food BUMD PT Food Station in providing cheap and quality basic needs for DKI Jakarta residents.
