Cool! Zarco And Jorge Martin Show Off Special Edition Helmet For MotoGP Mandalika, Really Indonesian Design
JAKARTA - Two Pramac Racing factory riders, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin, will appear compact with a special edition helmet when appearing at the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP on March 18-20 tomorrow. This certainty was revealed through the latest uploads of Zarco and Martin on their respective Instagram accounts.
Interestingly, the special edition helmet for the MotoGP Mandalika 2022 for Zarco and Martin was deliberately made with a distinctive theme with Indonesian motifs, especially the Mandalika carvings.
Shark as the manufacturer that produces the helmet still uses the blue color as the dominance of Zarco's helmet. The back of the helmet has a traditional Lombok motif, while the neck has Mandalika inscription on a tropical plant background and the Indonesian flag that forms a heart symbol.
Completing the upload showing this special edition helmet, Zarco also welcomed it happily. He even admitted that he was happy because he could wear a helmet with Indonesian elements when performing at the Mandalika Circuit later.
“Happy to bring a bit of Indonesian elements into my (helmet) designs for this weekend! Hope you like it," Zarco wrote in the caption.
Similar to Zarco, Jorge Martin is no less enthusiastic about welcoming the new special edition helmet from Shark. Different from Zarco's helmet, which is more dominant in the Mandalika carving design, Martin's one emphasizes Indonesian elements.
This is stated through the design on the back which shows an image of a red map of Indonesia. On the other hand, the Mega Mendung batik accent is also quite interesting.
“Special edition helmet!” Martin wrote while pinning the Indonesian flag emoji.
This special edition helmet is apparently not only intended for Zarco and Martin. Because the Pramac Racing team opens opportunities for fans who also intend to own the helmet through a contest that is held.
The Mandalika MotoGP will be Zarco's third season with Pramac Racing. In the 2021 season, Zarco managed to climb the podium four times.
But, at the start of this season which started in Qatar, his performances were not too flashy. Zarco was only able to rank 8th in the race at the Losail Circuit.
