Kajari Tangerang Wants To Build A Military School To Train Criminals

TANGERANG - The head of the Tangerang District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Erich Folanda, intends to build a military school in his area. This is done so that the perpetrators of crime do not repeat their actions.

He admitted that he had coordinated with the Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) and other law enforcement parties to seek to foster former criminals.

"There is support for activities (building) Kodim schools or whatever so that they are fostered, educated and disciplined. Character can be built so that there are no more criminal acts," Erich told reporters at the Tangerang Kejari, Thursday, March 17.

Erich assessed that in the past year, criminal acts of crime have been rampant in Tangerang City. Even based on the data he received, there were 54 non-narcotics cases with evidence of 31 sharp weapons such as machetes, samurai, and sickles.

"I see those who are worried about fighting children. This is what I see is quite dominating the crime in Tangerang City," he said.

Previously, the Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) wanted to increase supervision of students in the area in order to prevent brawls that occurred between them. This follows the rise of brawls in the area.

"We ask teachers and students to be more sensitive in reporting things like anything so that these brawls can be anticipated early," said Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah.
