JAKARTA - For a long time not being heard, the group who graduated from the Treasure Box, TREASURE and MAGNUM competitions gave good and bad news to fans.

We are sharing three announcements regarding YG's rookie group TREASURE prior to their official debut.

The first announcement, YG will separate the seven members of TREASURE and six members of MAGNUM through the "Treasure Box" program and name them TREASURE 13 as a whole, but it has been decided that the three teams will be combined under one name TREASURE. This is a careful decision made for TREASURE's successful debut and focuses on their development, so we ask for fans' understanding.

Future plans for TREASURE to organize opportunities to meet fans more closely through various means of not only active promotions but also unit promotions and solo promotions for the members. "

The second announcement, wrote YG, their previous plan to exclude members from participating in writing lyrics and composing was canceled. They plan to provide support and encouragement so that the TREASURE members can actively participate in writing lyrics and composing songs.

YG continued, the biggest reason for the change in plans was because the music produced by the members during the past few months when TREASURE's debut was postponed to evaluation. And with the discovery of the TREASURE member's skills, consideration was made as a good opportunity for TREASURE to shine in the future.

The third announcement and the unfortunate news is that member Ha Yoonbin is leaving TREASURE as of December 31, 2019. After much deliberation, Ha Yoonbin revealed that his musical goal is towards solo artists rather than group activities, so he asked to talk about his concerts with the agency.

After having a number of discussions, the two parties reached an agreement to support Ha Yoonbin's goals and opinions and canceled his exclusive contract on December 31.
