Appointed as Director of Enforcement, Brigadier General Setyo Participated in a Joint Meeting with the KPK Leaders
JAKARTA - KPK chairperson, Firli Bahuri, appointed 12 new structural officials. One of them is Brigadier General Setyo Budiyant. He's the new Director of Enforcement, replaces Brigadier-General Panca Putra Sim Continak.
The inauguration was held at the KPK Support Auditorium at 10:00 WIB. It was broadcast live through several KPK's social media, including YouTube.
"I officially appoint, one, Setyo Budianto, as Director of Enforcement. Second, Tomi Murtomo, as Director of Public Complaints. And third, Riki Arif Gunawan, as Director of Information and Data Management," Firli said at the inauguration ceremony, September 22.
Firli also appointed nine regional coordinators consist of internal elements from the KPK and Polri. Those who were also inaugurated were Asep Rahmat Suwanda, Aminuddin, Budi Waluyo, Aida Ratna Zulaiha, Didik Agung Widjanarko, Agung Yudho Wibowo, Bahtiar Ujang Purnama, Kumbul Kuswijayanto Sudjadi, and Yudhiawan.
"Congratulations on the trust of the nation and state to carry out their duties. Either as a director or regional coordinator," said Firli in his opening remarks.
In his remarks, Firli emphasized that the KPK has the main task in preventing, coordinating, monitoring, supervising, and prosecuting the corruption act. People hope that the KPK could eradicate the practice of corruption in Indonesia with its vision and mission.
The vision is together with the community to reduce corruption towards an advanced Indonesia with several visions. One of which is to take action to restore state assets and to maintain the transparency of this institution.
For this vision and mission to become clear to the newly appointed officials, Firli said the leadership and several structural officials would hold a meeting after the inauguration.
"I think I will convey the vision and mission to the new officials. Later, we will have a special meeting with the newly appointed officials. So after this, we will hold a meeting between Echelon I, Echelon II officials, and leaders, related to your new assignments," he said.
"Today, we are grateful. We have employees who will fill Echelon II positions at the KPK," he concluded.
