UFC Fighter Kevin Holland Is Back As A Hero, This Time Stop The Gunman Who Opened Fire In The Restaurant
JAKARTA - A gunman opened fire at a sushi restaurant in Houston. However, no one was injured thanks to the actions of several fast-acting MMA fighters. One of them, Kevin Holland of the UFC.
According to a TMZ Sports report, a panic alarm was activated at RA Sushi in Houston when the shooting occurred at around 11:30 a.m. Monday Night.
Houston Police Department Sergeant Ricardo Salas said 40 to 50 people were inside the restaurant when the suspect opened fire in the bar area.
That's when Patrick Robinson and Kevin Holland spring into action. Holland declined to be interviewed by local media. However, he posted a video of himself and Robinson outside the restaurant via Instagram Story as police investigated the scene.

According to Houston television station NBC-2, police identified the suspect as a 24-year-old man, who faces charges of possession of a stolen weapon and possession of a firearm.
In addition, he was carrying narcotics at the time of his arrest. The suspect is wanted for failing to appear in court on vandalism charges.
For Holland, stopping crime is not the first time. Last year, he managed to stop and detain a car thief in his neighborhood.
Monday, October 4, 2021 in the morning, Holland stopped a man who was about to steal a vehicle. The MMA fighter chased the mugger with his Dodge Charger and then walked away, trapping him and locking him in Khabib Nurmagomedov's signature lock until the police arrived.

At this point Holland could become a real-life Batman, putting his skills to the service of his community. One thing is for sure, criminals will think twice about committing a crime if Holland is near.
Holland fought earlier this month at UFC 272, where he defeated Alex Oliveira by second-round TKO to return to welterweight.
