Bad Weather, Three Subdistricts In Tangerang City Are Submerged By Floods
TANGERANG - A total of three sub-districts in Tangerang City were inundated due to heavy rains that flushed the area on Tuesday, March 15. The average height ranges from 30-40 centimeters. The districts affected by the flood are Batuceper, Cibodas san Pinang.
Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Tangerang City, Gufron Falfeli, said that his party was making an inventory of a number of areas that were flooded.
"If someone is evacuated, we will take this action. For example, no, then we will see if the water has a problem with the flow. If it is necessary to suck up the flow, we will suck it up," said Gufron when confirmed, Tuesday, March 15.
Gufron stated that until now there has not been a decrease in the water level that has inundated a number of areas. If it doesn't subside within the next hour, then suction will be carried out.
He said that his party had prepared a strategy to anticipate if it rained again in Tangerang City at night.
The form of anticipation is to monitor the development of climate data from the Meteorology and Climatology Agency (BMKG).
"We have deployed four UPTs, we'll just have to wait to see if there is a priority for evacuation or we must have desludging," he said.
