Apologize To The Indonesian People, Doni Salmanan, Please Pray For Sanctions To Be Eased
JAKARTA - The suspect in the alleged online gambling case under the guise of Quotex trading, Doni Muhammad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan, asked for prayers from the public. The request is that the alleged 20-year prison sentence can be commuted.
"I also want to ask for prayers for all of my friends, especially the Indonesian people, so that the sanctions against me can be eased," said Doni when he was presented at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Tuesday, March 15.
Not to forget, Doni Salmanan also apologized. Because, for their actions, the public then recognizes trading that has the potential to contain elements of fraud.
"I want to apologize to all Indonesian people who are familiar with the world of trading, both binary options or forex, cryto and so on. I hope that the Indonesian people can forgive all my mistakes," said Doni.
In his last statement, Doni Salmanan also appealed to the public to be careful with investments so as not to become victims of fraud.
"Then for the Indonesian people to be careful so that this doesn't become the same as illegal trades," said Doni.
Doni Salmanan has been named a suspect in a binary options fraud case with the Quotex platform.
Thus, Doni Salmanan is suspected of Article 45 paragraph 1 junto 28 paragraph 1 of the ITE Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, and Article 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 8 of 2010 concerning the Eradication of Money Laundering.
