DKI Prosecutor's Office Examines The Head Of The DKI Parks Service Regarding The Land Mafia Case In Cipayung
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) questioned the Head of the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service, Suzi Marsitawati, yesterday. This investigation relates to allegations of land mafia or corruption in land acquisition in Cipayung, East Jakarta.
Apart from Suzi, the Jakarta Attorney General's Office also questioned the former Head of the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service, Djafar Muchlisin, and several others. Both of them have the status as witnesses to alleged corruption with the mark-up mode.
"In the context of investigating the corruption case for land acquisition, the Jakarta Attorney General's Office investigator team examined 9 witnesses on Monday, March 14, 2022. Two of them are the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests Service, Suzi Marsitawati, and the former Head of the City Parks and Forest Service. DKI Jakarta Province, Djafar Muchlisin," said Head of the Jakarta Attorney General's Office, Ashari Syam in his statement, Tuesday, March 15.
Then, the Special Prosecutor's Office investigators will examine a notary related to allegations of being a land broker in Cipayung District in this case.
"Currently, the investigative team is still waiting for an answer and approval from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Notary Honorary Council, in order to conduct an examination of a notary who in carrying out his position is suspected of being a land broker," he said.
However, the Jakarta Attorney General's Office investigation team and PPATK are still investigating whether or not there is a flow of money received by the DKI City Parks and Forests Service, which causes state losses.
Until now, as many as 34 people have been examined as witnesses from elements of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests Service, local kelurahan elements, the National Land Agency/ATR for East Jakarta City, and people whose land was acquired for the development of green open spaces (RTH). and RPTH.
In this case, in 2018 the Parks and City Forest Service of DKI Province spent Rp. 326,972,478,000 or Rp. 326 billion more for land acquisition in Cipayung District.
The budget of hundreds of billions of rupiah is for land acquisition activities for forest parks, tombs, and RPTRA in the East Jakarta Administrative City area.
In its implementation, it is suspected that the price paid was too high, causing a loss to the state in this case the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government of approximately Rp. 26,719,343,153 or more than Rp. 26 billion.
The high price is due to the fact that budgeting in determining the market price is not based on the price of identical or similar assets offered for sale, as stipulated in the Market Data comparison method based on the Indonesian Appraisal Standard 106 (SPI 106).
