Apple Officially Sells IPhone SE In Indonesia, October 2
JAKARTA - After being announced last April, iPhone SE (2020) finally officially came to Indonesia. The successor to the first generation iPhone SE will go on sale on 2 October.
"Sales of the iPhone SE will start on October 2, 2020 in the Erajaya Group retail network, namely iBox, Erafone, and Urban Republic," as quoted from Erajaya's official statement, Monday, September 21.
While the availability of the iPhone SE has also been uploaded on the official iBox.co.id page. In the iBox Instagram upload, the caption reads "Soon to be available the ideal iPhone at the dream price. Register now!"
Even though it has been informed that it will be coming soon, the page has not included the price of the iPhone SE in Indonesia. In comparison, the iPhone SE (2020) is priced starting from US $ 399 (Rp.5.8 million) for the 64GB variant to US $ 549 (Rp.8 million) for the highest 256GB variant.
Currently, in Indonesia, especially in the BM market aka Black Market, iPhone SE (2020) has also been widely sold in e-commerce stores, one of which is Tokopedia. However, what is being sold today is the 128GB variant with a price range of IDR 9 million.
Regarding the specifications, this latest Apple mobile phone is powered by the A13 Bionic chipset. The same chipset as the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
iPhone SE (2020) carries a 4.7-inch screen with a Retina IPS LCD panel type (1,334 x 740 pixels). Apple also still has a fingerprint scanner module, Touch ID.
Whereas on the back, the iPhone SE (2020) is only equipped with a single camera with 12MP resolution which can record video in 4K 60 FPS resolution. For the front camera, the iPhone SE relies on a front camera with 7MP resolution (f / 2.2)
Other features that the iPhone SE has include support for WiFi 6, 4G LTE, Dual SIM with eSIM, wireless charger and has IP67 certification. As for the operating system, the iPhone SE (2020) already has iOS 13 installed, which can be upgraded to iOS 14.
