Because Of Komeng, Vincent Rompies Was Mistaken For A Convert And Was Lectured By Rhoma Irama
JAKARTA - Komeng is known as a comedian who likes to play pranks on his fellow public figures. Not a few artists are victims of Komeng's daily pranks, one of which is Kiwil.
Several years ago, Kiwil had contacted Komeng and asked if he was in Bali. Komeng replied that he was not there but Kiwil had seen Komeng's plane ticket. As a result, Komeng only followed Kiwil's words.
To prove this claim, Kiwil went to Bali to meet Komeng. It turns out that Komeng is not in Bali.
Vincent Rompies, a presenter and musician, also experienced a similar story. He told me that he had a program with Komeng.
At that time, Vincent felt confused because he was always lectured by Rhoma Irama. Even so, Vincent still listened to the swordsmen's words.
"Here's this behavior, a month (one program) with H Rhoma Irama," said Vincent, launching the Vindes YouTube channel.
After a while, Vincent found out that Komeng said that Vincent had just studied Islam. Rhoma Irama wanted to give a lecture on Islam to Vincent because of Komeng's words.
"Apparently, he (Komeng) told H Rhoma I was a convert, said his name was Vincent, just wanted to convert to Islam," said Vincent Rompies.
Komeng just laughed when he heard Vincent Rompies tell the story.
