Erick Thohir Assigns PTPN To Build Partnerships With MSMEs And Smallholders
JAKARTA - PT Perkebunan Nusantara or PTPN has a social task from the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir. One of them is about building strategic partnerships with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and smallholders through the People's Palm program.
"To increase prosperity and welfare for the community, especially farmers," said Erick as uploaded by PT Perkebunan Nusantara through the Instagram account @holdingperkebunan, Saturday, March 12.
Not only that, Erick said, PTPN must support national security both in the food sector through food self-sufficiency, as well as in the energy sector in particular supporting new and renewable energy.
In addition, PTPN should carry out innovation initiatives in its oil palm plantations to create an environmentally friendly and sustainable palm oil industry.
"Hopefully PTPN can realize its dream of becoming a world-class national agribusiness company and become a champion," Erick added.
In its Instagram upload, PTPN Group has even entered its 26th year. PTPN was once the best, and will repeat history to remain the best plantation company owned by the Indonesian nation.
As stated by SOE Minister Erick Thohir, PTPN is fully supported by the government to advance the domestic plantation industry in order to achieve food and energy security goals through new and renewable energy.
With continuous innovation through a transformation program, PTPN can be the key to prosperity for MSMEs in Indonesia by building strategic partnerships and increasing prosperity for smallholders through the People's Palm program.
