Fadli Imran Wants Jakarta Citizens To Get Booster Vaccine Before Ramadan, Let Fasting Work

JAKARTA - Approaching the month of Ramadan, Polda Metro Jaya wants all residents of Jakarta and its surroundings to have received a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccination. It is hoped that this condition will strengthen the community's immunity so that they can carry out their fast in a solemn and comfortable manner.

"We want people in our jurisdiction to be able to carry out Ramadan normally and solemnly, and economic activities can run normally," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran while reviewing the implementation of booster vaccinations in Cakung, East Jakarta, Saturday, March 12.

Fadil added that on the occasion of the vaccination, 400 doses of the second vaccine and boosters were provided for the community. Not only that, the community was also given gifts in the form of rice after being vaccinated.

"According to the direction of the National Police Chief, since 2021, we have made consistent efforts not only to maintain order and security, but also to accelerate vaccination and practice compliance with health procedures," said Fadil Imran.

Fadil said this Saturday, his party also held simultaneous vaccinations in 193 points spread across its jurisdiction.

"We believe that vaccination is a way to protect people from additional costs due to illness and being unable to carry out economic activities," said Fadil, to Antara.
