Ganjar Pranowo Invites Central Java's Super Rich People Who Error Not Reporting Assets To Participate In Tax Amnesty Volume II
JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo invites prominent taxpayers (WP) in his region to take part in the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) which is currently being held by the government.
According to Ganjar, taxpayers do not need to worry about participating in the PPS program. The reason is, this momentum is proof of the state's alignment with taxpayers by imposing special tariffs that are lower than usual.
"The taxes paid by the father and mother provide many benefits to the community and also the development of the country," he said in an official statement quoted Friday, March 11.
In fact, Ganjar had time to make a humorous statement to attract the interest of the participants who were present to take part in the program in question.
"Who knows, while unloading the warehouse, they will continue to find 10 gold bars that have not been reported, so it must be done immediately. Then, if there is a Harley Davidson motorcycle that is missed, report it so that the tax can be paid," he said.
For information, Ganjar's meeting with super-rich taxpayers was initiated by the Ministry of Finance as well as part of the roadshow to socialize the Law on the Harmonization of Tax Regulations (HPP). Also attending the event were Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani along with Echelon I officials from the Ministry of Finance as well as local regents and mayors.
"So if we don't pay taxes, the country will be battered. For this reason, the participation of entrepreneurs can keep our economy running," he said.
