White Gray Brings Melly Goeslaw's Butterfly Back
JAKARTA - The vocal group Putih Abu-Abu released the song Butterfly by Melly Goeslaw on Friday, March 11. This song is the soundtrack for the 2007 film of the same name.
Different from the original version, White Gray's Butterfly has a fast tempo with good harmonization from its members.
"The song 'Butterfly' is actually a continuation of the song 'Worry' yesterday, because later our singles will be related to each other," said Intan, a member of Putih Abu-Abu.
"That's why in the music video, the main character is given sweet treatment by the opposite sex until he feels like he's flying like a butterfly flying freely here and there," he continued.
This Butterfly is Melly Goeslaw's fifth song sung by Putih Abu-Abu. Previously they had released Bimbang, Mother, Like the Sky, and Maybe.
It is an honor for the vocal group under Warner Music Indonesia to be able to perform the maestro's song.
"Hopefully, our single can be heard by all people and can be trending on YouTube as well." said Karin, a member of White Gray.
Melly Goeslaw and Putih Abu-Abu are also reported to have met to create joint content about music and others.
White Gray is a vocal group known for their cover videos. They consist of Cheryll FS (Cheryll), Tiara Kamilah (Taya), Karina Amelia Putri (Karin), Alma Thania (Alma), Reikhansa (Rei), and Neneng Intan (Intan). The song Butterfly from White Gray can be listened to digitally.
