2 Men In Bali Steal A Set Of Gong, Lose IDR 25 Million
BADUNG - The South Kuta Police Team arrested two perpetrators of theft of gong reong belonging to Sekaa Gong Banjar, in Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.
The two perpetrators of the theft were IKW (20) and INJ (16). Both were arrested Saturday, March 5.
"That the two perpetrators are teenagers and one of them is a minor," said South Kuta Police Chief Kompol I Ketut Sugiarta Yoga, Thursday, March 10.
The theft was reported by the Chairman of Sekaa Gong Banjar Giri Darma, I Kadek Widana. The complainant said the gong was missing on March 5th.
"With this incident, the reporter reported to the Head of the Banjar Giri Darma Service and continued to be reported to the South Kuta Police," he added.
The evidence that was lost were 8 gong reong, 1 kajar, 1 kempli with a total loss of Rp. 25 million.
"The modus operandi is that the two perpetrators entered the banjar area in the afternoon and in the morning by climbing the wall and taking the gong belonging to the sekaa gong banjar," he explained.
