Wanda Hamidah Threatened With Reports, Paris Fashion Week Organizers Speak Up
JAKARTA - Wanda Hamidah is one of the public figures who is vocal about the phenomenon of local brands flying to Paris for Fashion Week. Now, it is rumored that he will be sued by an unscrupulous person because of his upload on Instagram.
"Failed to understand this by an Indonesian designer who brought his own audience from Indonesia to Paris Fashion Week," Wanda Hamidah wrote for the first time.
Even though he was attacked, he didn't stop talking about Paris Fashion Week. He even claimed to have pocketed several documents regarding the claim of the fashion event. Then, Wanda Hamidah said someone named Wulan would report it to the law.
"Mbak Wulan, the EO of 'Paris Fashion Week', contacted my best friend asking to meet... she said she would sue me in court. I am happy to wait, so that your cover will be exposed, sincerely, WH," wrote Wanda Hamidah.
There are individuals who commit fraud against local brands. These brands thought that they would appear at Paris Fashion Week but they were wrong.
"Have you seen Inventing Anna? A journalist investigates the story of Anna Delvey Instagram legendary German heirees, who stole heart and money of New York elite. Must watch!" Wanda Hamidah said on Instagram Story.
"Well it turns out that there is also in Jakarta, this Jakarta version of Anna stole the hearts and money of the Jakarta elite. Anna deceived socialites, state officials, embassies, institutions, organizations, yes of course designers and so on," he continued.
Wanda Hamidah explained that parties like this deliberately invite local brands and lie to be able to appear at Paris Fashion Week.
"Most of the Indonesian brands that came to Paris really hoped and thought that it was a real PFW...they paid a lot... it turned out that it wasn't registered with a real PFW," he said.
Meanwhile, the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode as the organizer of Paris Fashion Week gave a warning for fake accounts imitating the profile of the fashion event.
"Paris Fashion Week has warned you to be careful with Paris Fashion Week identity theft," added Wanda Hamidah.
Wanda Hamidah admitted that she did not feel jealous of various brands or influencers who went to Paris. However, he wants the Indonesian people not to be deceived by the global glorification of local brands.
