Son Of Soeharto Bambang Trihatmodjo Prevented Abroad Because Of State Receivables
JAKARTA - The Director General of State Assets at the Ministry of Finance, Isa Rachmatawarta, stated that his party prevented Bambang Trihatmodjo from traveling abroad because he still had a state receivable problem regarding the 1997 SEA Games. This letter of extension to prevent going abroad made the son of the second President of the Republic of Indonesia Soeharto, sue Minister Sri Mulyani.
"We prevent traveling abroad. This is actually the policy taken by the committee regarding state receivables, ”he said in an online discussion quoted by Antara, Friday, September 18.
Isa explained that prevention is carried out by the state receivables committee consisting of the Minister of Finance, the prosecutor's office, the police, and local governments.
“The minister is the head of state receivables. This is a committee assigned under Law Number 49 of 1960 to take care of unresolved state receivables, "he said.
Isa said the state accounts receivable committee had informed the Directorate General of Immigration about preventing Bambang Trihatmodjo from traveling abroad.
"Prevention has been requested from the Directorate General of Immigration by the state receivables affairs committee," he said.
This prevention was carried out so that Bambang Trihatmodjo could speak with the state receivables committee to complete his obligations.
"It is a request from the state receivables committee known to the Minister of Finance," he said.
According to him, there are many ways to settle the obligation to fulfill state receivables such as paying in full at once or asking for a deadline to pay.
Isa ensures that the state accounts receivable committee has summoned and gave advance warning to the person concerned to be responsible for resolving this state receivable affairs.
"If it is not paid attention, the committee will be given the authority by law to take more actions, for example preventing going abroad and blocking accounts," he said.
In addition, Isa admitted that he had not received notification of Bambang Trihatmodjo's lawsuit against the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani at the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).

In his lawsuit, Bambang Trihatmodjo asked PTUN to declare invalid or invalid Decree of the Minister of Finance Number 108 / KM.6 / 2020 dated May 27, 2020 concerning the Stipulation of the Extension of the Prevention of Travel Outside the Territory of the Republic of Indonesia against Bambang Trihatmodjo (Chairman of the Consortium of XIX Sea Games Organizing Partners in 1997 ) in the framework of State Receivables Management.
In addition, Bambang Trihatmodjo in his lawsuit asked PTUN to require the defendant to revoke the Minister of Finance Decree Number 108 / KM.6 / 2020 dated May 27, 2020.
