Isak Cries Family In Palu Picking Up Bodies Of KKB Shooting Victims
PALU - The body of one of the victims of the shooting of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua, Bona Simanulang, arrived in Palu City, Central Sulawesi.
The arrival of the body at the funeral home was greeted with sobs from the family in Palu City.
"The family plans to bury the body on Saturday, March 12," said family representative, Zeet Pakan, at the funeral home, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 8.
Zeet said the bodies were flown in from Timika-Makassar-Palu and accompanied by Selviani's wife Talantan and dozens of victims' families.
"The deceased left a wife and three children," he said.
The family plans to bury the deceased in a public cemetery (TPU) Talise Village, Mantikolure District, Palu City.
"The temporary grave excavation process may take two days to complete," said Zeet Pakan.
According to Zeet Pakan, the deceased had worked in the Department of FOP Palaparing Timur Telematics (PTT) for approximately four years.
The late Bona was one of eight victims of the KKB shooting in Papua who were handed over to their respective families.
Before being returned to the family, the police had held a procession of respect for the eight victims.
