Asops Commander Of The TNI Checks The Readiness Of The Battalion 136/TS Papua Barat Task Force
TANJUNGPINANG - Operations Assistant to the TNI Commander, Major General TNI Syafruddin, and his entourage inspected the operational readiness of the Infantry Battalion 136/Tuah Sakti organic unit for the 2022 West Papua region in Tembesi, Batam, Riau Islands.
Arriving at the Headquarters of the 136/Tuah Sakti Infantry Battalion, he received a line of respect from the chivalric guard service and a report and presentation on readiness by the Commander of the 136/Tuah Sakti Infantry Battalion, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Andi Ariyanto.
Ariyanto, who is also the commander of the Infantry Battalion 136/Tuah Sakti Task Force, reported that 400 personnel will depart for West Papua.
"This task force will carry out tasks such as the Kodim and Koramil through territorial development and social communication for nine months in the West Papua region," Ariyanto told Syafruddin as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 8.
Meanwhile, Syafruddin emphasized to all soldiers of the 136/TS Infantry Battalion Task Force to be able to win and win the hearts of the people by jointly developing the West Papua region.
He hopes that the presence of the task force soldiers in the area is expected to be able to help with difficulties or provide the needs of the local community without being arrogant.
"The main target of the TNI Commander is to leave 400 people and return as well by successfully carrying out territorial development, so that people can feel that the TNI is really helping the Papuan people," said Syafruddin.
He and his entourage checked the readiness of Battalion 136/Tuah Sakti troops, including personnel and material readiness in the battalion's gridiron.
During the activity, the soldiers continued to implement strict health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
