The Story Of Infiltration Wells, This Time Built On Pramuka Island
JAKARTA - The Water Resources Sub-Department (SDA) of the Thousand Islands Regency Government has built an infiltration well in RT002/RW04 Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Village, North Thousand Islands District.
Head of the Thousand Islands Natural Resources Sub-Department, Hendri, in his official statement, said that this work was carried out by deploying eight personnel from the Pramuka Island SDA SDA (Satgas) personnel.
"This infiltration well is intended as an effort to overcome the occurrence of puddles when it rains," Hendri said Tuesday, March 8, quoted from Antara.
Hendri said, this year on Pramuka Island the SDA Task Force made six infiltration wells. Three points of infiltration wells have been completed, namely at the location of RT 05/04, Pulau Panggang Village.
"One infiltration well is 7.5 meters long, with a type of infiltration well with a diameter of 30 × 30 cm and 40 × 40 cm with a depth of 50 cm," said Hendri.
Hendri added that the construction of infiltration wells on Pramuka Island had been carried out since the end of February 2022 and currently three of them have been functioned and utilized in RW 04.
"We hope that the roads in residential areas will no longer have puddles of water during the rainy season," he said.
Hendri was not willing to specify the amount of the budget to build the infiltration well.
Previously in December last year, the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, had previously disclosed the cost of constructing infiltration wells. The price ranges from IDR 7-13 million because it consists of several types. Each type has a different cost.
"There are Buis Beton types and modular types. For example, for Buis Concrete the price is around Rp. 13.2 million for the heavy duty perforated concrete buis type, this is Adhi Mix's most expensive price. As for the modular type, the price is around Rp. 7.3 million per m3 ," said Deputy Governor Riza at the time.
