Police Suspect That One Of The Witnesses Lied About The Death Of Nida "Tangmo" Patcharaveerapong
JAKARTA - The death of actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong was declared purely due to an accident. However, the police suspect that there was a lie in the middle of the investigation process.
Tuesday, March 8, the police said that one of the witnesses allegedly lied about the incident that happened to Tangmo.
“All the witnesses were interviewed separately and the stories they shared were different. This indicates that one person may be lying,” police quoted the Bangkok Post as saying the same day.
With these different testimonies, the police said there is a possibility that the number of suspects will increase.
The new police have determined the owner and driver of the speedboat that Tangmo and his friends were using. The two people are Por Tanupat Lerttaweewit and Robert Phaiboon Trikanjananun.
The police have also searched the house of Nitas “Job” Kiratisoothisathorn, one of the speedboat passengers. They are investigating the liquor connected to the incident.
In addition, the police are also investigating the GPS recordings but have not found any allegations of sexual or narcotics use which have been widely discussed.
On the other hand, Tangmo's mother, Panida Sirayootyotin, asked for a second autopsy. He felt that there was something odd about Tangmo's death.
Actress and model Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong fell into the Chao Phraya river, Nonthaburi at 10:40 p.m. on February 24 while on a speedboat with five other people. After missing, Tangmo was found two days later lifeless.
