Bareskrim Again Handed Over The Documents For Jalan Djoko Tjandra

JAKARTA - Investigators at the General Crime Directorate (Dittipidum), Bareskrim Polri, again overflowed the case files for the fake pass by Djoko Tjandra et al to the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung). This was done after completing several things that were previously considered insufficient.

"Yes, the handover of the case files of the suspects (Djoko Tjandra, Anita Kolopaking, and Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo) to the Attorney General's Office in order to fulfill the P-19 from the prosecutor," said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Friday, September 18.

Investigators handed over the case files on Thursday, September 17. In addition, investigators also included three copies of the Minutes of Coordination from the AGO.

Prior to the transfer of files, investigators double-check all the completeness of the evidence that has been secured. The goal is to ensure that all elements in the case file are complete if they enter the realm of the trial.

"The packaging and labeling have been confiscated as well as ensuring the condition of the evidence is in good condition," he said.

Previously, the documents of travel documents were returned by the team of AGO investigators to the Bareskrim Porli investigators. The file was deemed incomplete formally and materially.

Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said that the file was returned due to the lack of examination of witnesses. This deficiency must be completed by investigators.

"The first is to conduct examinations of witnesses who relieve (for) the suspects," Awi told reporters, Monday, September 14.

In this case, the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit named three suspects. They are Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo, Anita Kolopaking and Djoko Tjandra.

Brigen Prasetyo is subject to Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 426 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and or Article 221 paragraph 1-2 of the Criminal Code. Article 263 of the Criminal Code regulates the making of fake letters.

Anita Kolopaking was charged with Article 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and 223 KUHP. Meanwhile, Djoko Tjandra was charged with Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 regarding the Use of Fake Letters, Article 426, Article 221 of the Criminal Code.
