Still Often Catching Up While Defending Opponents, Garuda Muda Wins First Victory In Trials
JAKARTA - The appearance of the U-19 Indonesian national team has gradually improved. Although they often lacked focus on guarding their opponents and fell behind first, Garuda Muda succeeded in overthrowing Qatar 2-1 at the SRC Mladost Stadium, Cakovec, Thursday, September 17.
For Shin Tae-yong's troops this was the first victory in trials during their training camp in Croatia.
The two winning goals for the U-19 national team were scored by Brylian Aldama in the 18th minute (pen) and Mochammad Supriadi in the 84th minute. Previously, Garuda Muda had played three trial matches against Bulgaria (0-3), Croatia (1-7) and Saudi Arabia (3-3).
After the U-19 national team coach match, Shin Tae-yong thanked the players who were able to win in this match.
