Road Access To Tri Sakti Waterfall Tour Is Bad, Residents And Police Personnel In Rejang Lebong Gotong Royong Build
REJANG LEBONG - Residents of Belitar Seberang Village, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province have worked together to build a road to the Tri Sakti Waterfall tourist site.
The chairman of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Belitar Seberang Village, Sindang Kelingi District, Hendri Handika, when contacted, said that the Tri Sakti Waterfall tourist attraction, which opened in mid-2021, had been visited by thousands of tourists. Unfortunately, road access to tourist sites is poor.
"We, the people of Belitar Seberang Village, in recent weeks have carried out a self-help movement to build a road to Tri Sakti Waterfall which is about 2.5 KM from our village. We have built 259 meters of road," he said when contacted in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Monday, March 7th.
The access road they built is to make it easier for visitors to visit tourist sites. So far, most tourists enter through other villages so that the number of visitors is not visible from their village.
"Currently we need donations in the form of materials because all of this is self-supporting and the people of Belitar Seberang are assisted by the Bengkulu Police SPN, BRI bank and several other parties," explained Hendri.
He feels grateful because many parties are willing to help revive the tourism potential in Belitar Seberang Village. Moreover, the waterfall has a height of up to 86 meters.
In addition to building a cast road, his party has also made a proposal to the Rejang Lebong Regency Government and the Bengkulu Provincial Government and the Ministry of Tourism so that the road to this tourist location is built permanently. So that two- and four-wheeled vehicles can enter from Belitar Seberang Village to the tourist location.
