Kediri Police Are Still Looking For Evidence Of A Stabbing Case That Killed 4 People
KEDIRI - Police officers from the Kediri Resort, East Java, are still looking for the sickle used by the perpetrators of the stabbing, a resident of Pojok Village, Wates District, Kediri Regency, which resulted in 10 injuries, four of whom died.
"The tool used was a sickle, and we are still looking for it. The perpetrator had fled to the garden," said Head of the Kediri Police Criminal and Investigation Unit AKP Rizkika Atmadha Putra in Kediri, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 7.
He said he was still investigating the case. Members are still gathering testimony from witnesses to find out the motive for the action.
"For the motive, we have gathered from the testimony of witnesses and we can explain what the motive is, how to do it. There are many witnesses," he said.
Until now, the police are still investigating the perpetrator with the initials R, a resident of Bangunmulyo Hamlet, Pojok Village, Wates District, Kediri Regency. The person concerned was silent, so the police did not get much information.

The incident started with the perpetrator who had a quarrel with a family member and then suddenly brought a caring or a kind of sickle and slashed the residents he met. In fact, there are relatives who are also victims. In that incident, 10 people became victims and four of them died. Meanwhile, six other people are still being treated in hospital.
A number of the perpetrator's neighbors are still traumatized by the incident. Surya, one of the neighbors, said that after doing his actions, he fled and returned home.
Residents who knew did not even dare to enter the house, because they were still worried. Several other residents are also still working together to rescue injured residents.
"No one dared to enter. After the police arrived, he was taken into custody," said Surya.
Meanwhile, a number of houses including the perpetrator's house were also lined with police. At the perpetrator's house, a motorbike was also seen parked inside the house and there was a place for selling vegetables. Residents said the perpetrators had been working odd jobs.
