Coordinating Minister Airlangga: Mandalika MotoGP Spectators Don't Need PCR Or Antigen Tests
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, said that the Mandalika MotoGP spectators did not need to do a PCR test or the original antigen had received a full dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
"Earlier, we have received the direction of the President with the second dose in NTB which is already at the 70 percent level, so for spectators at Mandalika MotoGP who have been vaccinated twice, there is no need to test both PCR and antigen again", said Coordinating Minister Airlangga during an online Press Conference of PPKM, Monday, March 7.
The regulation, continued Airlangga, applies to all viewers, both from within the country and abroad. In addition, to overcome the spread of COVID-19 at the time of holding MotoGP matches, the government reduced the audience quota from the original 200 thousand spectators to 60 thousand spectators.
"The audience capacity is 60 thousand and all tickets have been sold out, especially on the third day of the matchday", he said.
Airlangga further detailed that, overall, the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in NTB has reached 92.5 percent and the second dose is 70.6 percent and is at level 1. The achievement of vaccination per city/district is Mataram reaching 116 percent for the first and second doses 86 percent for the second dose. West Lombok reached 89.5 percent for the first dose and 70.7 percent for the second dose. Then, Central Lombok 92 percent for the first dose and 77 percent for the second dose.
Then there is East Lombok, the first vaccine is 92.7 percent and the second is 63.6 percent and then North Lombok is 88.5 percent. Overall, the first vaccine was 92.5 and the second was 70.6 percent and the third vaccine was 3.8 percent. So Mandalika is very ready to hold a match", explained Airlangga.
He also mentioned the travel bubble in Batam Bintan. The government has prepared a policy according to President Jokowi's directives without quarantine. The number of tourists going to Batam Bintan per February 23-March 6 is 240 people and on February 25-March 14 as many as 510 people
