JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menkomarves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said the government was loosening restrictions on sporting events.

"All sports competition activities can receive spectators," said Luhut in a press conference broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Monday, March 7.

Then, the capacity of the competition is limited in accordance with the implementation of PPKM in the area holding the competition.

"The respective capacities are as follows, Level 4 25% percent, Level 3 50 percent, Level 2 75 percent, and Level 1 100 percent," said Luhut.

Along with this, Luhut encourages all districts/cities to increase booster vaccination coverage. Because, currently the achievement is still below 10 percent.

"I also beg and ask for the public's willingness to return to the available vaccine outlets for the sake of recovery and better handling of this pandemic," said Luhut.

Furthermore, Luhut revealed that every policy that the government has taken to date is of course implemented on the basis and input from experts and experts in their fields.
