5 DKI Provincial Government Offices Closed Simultaneously Due To The Findings Of COVID-19 Cases

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has temporarily closed activities in 5 regional government offices since the discovery of many COVID-19 cases, namely a number of regional officials and several DKI employees who were exposed.

The five DKI Provincial Government offices that were closed were the Blok G Building at the City Hall of DKI, the Jatibaru Technical Service Office, the DKI Health Service Office, the South Jakarta Mayor Office, and the West Jakarta Mayor Office.

The head of the DKI Chaidir Regional Civil Service Agency said that the five buildings were closed simultaneously from Thursday 17 September to Saturday, September 19.

"So what I know is the Blok G Building, (Technical Service) Jatibaru, the South Jakarta Mayor's office and the Health Service are closed for spraying. Monday (September 21) will be active again," said Chaidir when confirmed.

While closed, the five offices will be sprayed with disinfectant liquid to remove the corona virus that sticks to objects and facilities in the office.

As for the Health Office office, Chaidir said not all parts of the building were closed. There are several parts, especially relating to handling COVID-19 that are still operating.

"There are certain parts that are still operational, such as the COVID-19 response team. The back office is just closed," he said.

However, so far, Chaidir did not say how many DKI employees were affected by COVID-19. "I don't know the number, who knows the Health Office," he said.

During the temporary closure, all ASNs work from home or move to other buildings such as the Abdul Muis Technical Service.

"For ASNs who don't work, they work from home using applications, right now the era is sophisticated," he added.
