PTPP Has Holds New Contracts Of IDR 11.24 Trillion
JAKARTA - The state-owned construction and investment company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), has obtained new contracts up to August amounting to IDR 11.24 trillion. In the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic, PTPP continues to win new contracts.
The achievement of new contracts amounting to Rp.11.24 trillion consists of new parent company contracts amounting to 84 percent and subsidiary companies amounting to 16 percent. Some of the projects that have been achieved by PTPP until August 2020 include: RDMP JO amounting to Rp1.80 trillion, SPAM Pekanbaru amounting to Rp1.26 trillion, Bogor Apartments amounting to Rp1.17 trillion.
Then, the Mandalika Circuit of Rp. 817 billion, Sport Center Banten Rp. 794 billion, SGAR Alumina Rp. 660 billion, Regular RDMP Rp. 576 billion, Jalan Kendari-Toronipa Rp. 412 billion, Muara Bakah Pipeline & Refinery Rp. 290 billion, Dual Fuel Power Plant Freeport 80 MW Rp. 261 billion, and PLBN Long Nawang Rp. 204 billion.
"We have successfully booked new contracts of Rp. 11.24 trillion by the end of August 2020. Management is optimistic that this year's new contract target will be achieved. This can be seen from the emergence of new projects achieved by PTPP during the COVID-19 pandemic," said the President Director of PTPP, Novel Arsyad, in his statement, Thursday 17 September.
As of August 2020, new contracts from BUMN dominated the acquisition of new PTPP contracts with a contribution of 46 percent, followed by the Government at 32 percent and private sector with 22 percent of the total acquisition of new contracts.
As for the acquisition of new contracts based on the type or type of work, namely: Buildings by 32 percent, Oil & Gas by 24 percent, Roads & Bridges by 16 percent, Irrigation by 15 percent, Power Plants by 9 percent, Industry by 3 percent, and others. Another 2 percent.
