Admits Receiving Rp13 Billion, Mrs. Nida "Tangmo" Patchaveerapong Denies Having Forgiven The Owner Of The Speedboat
JAKARTA - In the middle of the conversation, a new fact was revealed from the death of actress Nida "Tangmo" Patchaveerapong. The mother reportedly received 30 million baht (Rp 13 billion) as compensation.
Friday, March 4, Mrs. Tangmo - Panida Siriyuthayothin spoke to the public through the Hone Krasae program on TV Channel 3. She stated that she had forgiven the owner of the speedboat, Tanupat “Por” Lerrttaweewit.
According to the Bangkok Post, Tanupat is very sensitive and even calls him every day to apologize for the incident. Then, the owner of the speedboat gave 30 million baht in compensation.
“Say if (Tangmo) received a million baht from a television series. If she lives for another 30 years, I can multiply that number by 30. This does not include the loss of income from photo sessions as a model,” said Panida, Tangmo's mother.
Furthermore, the mother denied that she had forgiven Tanupat because of the amount of compensation. He also said the compensation had nothing to do with the ongoing problem.
This interview apparently received a negative response from Tangmo's cousin, Dayos Dechjob. He wrote his disappointment on Facebook with a broken heart emoji.
On the other hand, Panida was disappointed with Tangmo's friends and manager. That day, they didn't try to find Tangmo until three days after the tragedy.
It is known that Nida "Tangmo" Patchaveerapong took a photo shoot on the Chao Phraya River on Thursday, February 24. At 22:40, Tangmo fell from the boat while trying to defecate behind the ship. After 38 hours of searching, Tangmo was found dead.
