Deputy Regent Of Yalimo Becomes Suspected Of Crashing Policewomen, Claiming To Drink Vodka
JAKARTA - Deputy Regent of Yalimo, Papua, Erdi Dabi (ED) was named a suspect for crashing into Polwan Bripka Christin Batfeni to death. The Deputy Regent was detained by the police.
"He has become a suspect and has been detained," said Papua Police Chief Inspector General Paulus Waterpauw, confirmed by VOI, Thursday, September 17.
Deputy Regent of Yalimo ED is subject to Article 311 paragraphs 1,2 and 5 of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. This traffic accident occurred on Polimak road, Wednesday, September 16. At that time, the victim was on his way to the Papua Police Headquarters. The victim was taken to Marthen Indey Hospital and declared dead.
During the investigation, the Deputy Regent Yalimo ED admitted that he consumed alcoholic drinks. These results are also known from the police tests on ED.
"Claiming to consume Vodka, there are 4 bottles plus other drinks," said Paulus.
