Tickets For The First And Second Day Of The Mandalika MotoGP Are Still Left, The Third Day Tickets Are Sold Out

JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir said tickets for the third or final day of the Indonesian MotoGP at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, were sold out.

Erick said that this interest came from individuals, communities, and corporations. "Thank you to all parties who have continued to work hard over the past week until the third day's tickets run out," Erick said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 6.

On this occasion, Erick Thohir also said that Dorna Sports appreciated and even provided additional stands for fans of Repsol Honda racers, Marc Marquez, and Maverick Vinales from Aprilia Racing.

"Dorna really appreciates even providing additional stands for Marc Marquez and Maverick Vinales fans of 500 tickets each and I'm sure this will be sold out," Erick Thohir added.

Erick and other stakeholders will also continue to encourage ticket sales for the first and second day, which are currently still available.

"The public's interest is the key. This is not because of anyone, but the public's interest that must be appreciated. Just like in the Asian Games (2018). This proves that we are a big country and we are ready to hold big world events. We only encourage opening networks- so that people can get access to tickets," said Erick.

The Indonesian MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit will last for three days. On the first day of Friday 18 March, the drivers will undergo a free practice session. Then one day after that continued with the qualification. The competition will take place on Sunday, March 20.
