GARUT - The police named the chairman of the Rahayu Singles Association in Garut, West Java, Cakraningrat alias Sutarman as a suspect. Sutarman is charged with fraud.
Kasat Reskrim Garut Police AKP Maradona Armin Mappaseng said Sutarman was also immediately detained. The suspect charged with Article 93 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 7 of Law Number 12 of 2012.
"It has been determined as a suspect, and from the investigation of the suspect until now we have detained the suspect and we are completing the case files and developments," explained AKP Maradona to reporters, Thursday, September 17.
Maradona said police had only named one suspect in the fraud and also a fake academic degree. But the police will continue to develop in this case.
"We will develop it against other perpetrators if there are allegations against other perpetrators and other allegations," he concluded.
Head of the West Java Kesbangpol Agency, Raden Iip Hidayat, previously said that the Tunggal Rahayu community had applied for a permit. This association is said to have existed since 2017.
