"My house is rented for Rp. 3 million a month," said Mrs. Tobar, a resident of Kuta Village, Pujut District, Praya, Friday, March 4, quoted from Antara.
He said the rented house was deliberately built to be an alternative lodging place for spectators and workers in the Mandalika SEZ.
"If there is no MotoGP rented Rp1 million a month," he said.
Syawaludin, a local resident, also said that many houses around Kuta were rented by workers in the Mandalika SEZ, such as his house which is currently being rented by the construction workers of the Mandalika Circuit.

Previously, the Government of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara stated that lodging accommodations around the Mandalika Circuit had been fully booked, so MotoGP spectators had started renting residents' houses as lodging places.
"Information about the houses of residents in the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) is much sought after to be used as lodging by MotoGP spectators," said Head of the Central Lombok Tourism Office, H Lendek Jayadi.
The residents' houses that are rented are certainly houses that are suitable for habitation or have facilities and infrastructure such as Homestay lodging. The audience rented a house, because all the hotels in the Mandalika SEZ were full.
"Hotels and homestays in the Mandalika SEZ are full. So the alternative for lodging is a decent house for residents and a camping ground," he said.
