VIDEO: Chicken Meat Prices Soar, Purchasing Power Decreases

JAKARTA - Since last February, a number of basic needs have increased, one of which is chicken meat. The price of chicken meat began to creep up, the increase ranged from three to five thousand rupiah per kilogram. The price of chicken meat, which was previously sold at Rp. 35,000 per kilogram, has now increased to Rp. 38,000 per kilogram. At Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, Friday (4/3) this condition has an impact on traders. As a result of this increase, a number of traders admitted that their customers' purchasing power had decreased. This condition certainly complicates sales and decreases the turnover of traders.
