Not A Mask, Men In The UK Even Wrap A Snake Around Their Neck When Riding A Bus

JAKARTA - Instead of wearing a mask in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, men in the UK have wrapped a snake around their neck while boarding a bus. Suddenly, the other bus passengers were shocked.

Reported by Sky News, passengers on the Swinton-Manchester route who observed the snake-wrapped man thought it was a funny incident. This snake is considered deliberately wrapped around the neck as a substitute for a mask.

This passenger did not know whether the bus driver had reprimanded the man carrying the snake.

"Nobody turns a blind eye," he said describing the atmosphere of the other passengers on the bus.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, residents who take public transportation such as buses are required to wear masks. The Greater Manchester transport spokesman warned about the government's recommendation regarding the obligation to have a mask. Homemade masks can be used.

"The government guidelines clearly do not require wearing surgical masks, passengers can make them themselves or use cloth that is shaped like a scarf," he said.

It is not yet known what species of snake the passenger carried. But this snake is considered dangerous when venomous.
