The Serang City Police Chief, AKBP Maruli Achilles Hutapea confirmed that there was chaos during the distribution of aid to flood victims.
The incident took place at the Angsoka Permai Housing Estate, Serang City, Tuesday, March 1, at noon.
Maruli said that the commotion was due to miscommunication or miscommunication between residents and the officers who distributed them. However, continued Maruli, in the end the residents received assistance equally.
“Miscommunication, because they are in the back, the food in front is divided. Residents behind there are still isolated. But in the evening we came again," explained Maruli when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, March 3.
