Serve Meals At Places When PSBB Jakarta, 23 Restaurants Are Closed
JAKARTA - As many as 23 restaurants in DKI Jakarta were caught serving customers to eat on the spot when the PSBB was reinstated. As a result, dozens of restaurants were closed.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus said, 23 restaurants were sealed during the DKI Jakarta justice operation on the third day. According to him, restaurants that serve customers on the premises violate the Regulation of the Governor (Pergub) 88 of 2020.
"There are 23 restaurants that we have closed. Based on the regulation of Pergub 88, they can only take away or pack," Yusri told reporters, Wednesday, September 16.
Yusri explained that the justice operation was carried out by a joint team, namely the TNI-Polri, the Regional Government (Pemda), the Attorney General's Office and the Court. In this operation also took action against 9,734 offenders. The majority of violations do not apply health protocols using masks.
"A total of 2,971 were given sanctions in the form of reprimands. Then, 5,279 were given social sanctions and 484 were given administrative sanctions in the form of fines. A total of 9,734 people," he said.
From the fines given to violators, collected around Rp.88 million. Referring to Pergub Number 79, violators will be subject to a fine of IDR 250 thousand for one offender.
"The value of the Rp.88,660,500 fine that goes to the regional government treasury is put forward," he said.
However, the number of actions was a total of two days of action. Because, the third day of action has not been totaled. "The number of prosecution for the third day will be announced tomorrow," he said.
