Permanent Legal Force, Ex-tax Official Dadan Ramdani To Be Executed Immediately
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) immediately executed the former Head of the 2016-2019 Directorate General of Taxation Cooperation and Support Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit) Dadan Ramdani. The execution was carried out because no appeal was filed in the tax administration bribery case.
"The case with the defendant Dadan Ramdani has obtained permanent legal force and the executing prosecutor will immediately carry out the execution of the judge's decision," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri in a written statement, Wednesday, March 2.
As for the former Director of Audit and Collection at the 2016-2019 Directorate General of Taxes, Angin Prayitno Aji has now filed an appeal at the DKI Jakarta High Court. Against this submission, Ali emphasized that the KPK is ready to deal with it.
"Of course the KPK Prosecutor's team will immediately prepare a counter memorandum of appeal to refute all of the objections submitted by the accused," he said.
"We hope that the panel of judges at the appellate level will reject the defendant's legal efforts and decide as demanded by the prosecutor in the case," added Ali.
