Drakor Coffee Prince Cast Reunites For A Documentary
JAKARTA - The cast of Korean drama Coffee Prince will gather in a documentary produced by television channel MBC. Tuesday, September 15, a short teaser shocked fans.
Through the video, Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun Hye, Lee Sun Gyu, Kim Dong Wook, Kim Jae Wook, and Chae Jung An entered the cafe where the drama was filmed. They enter separately and seem surprised by the atmosphere of this cafe.
This documentary will feature cast reflecting on the success of the drama and their outlook for 2020.
The announcement of the reunion was broadcast by MBC last month. MBC said this reunion was the first time in 13 years.
Coffee Prince is a 2007 Korean drama that tells the story of people's interactions at a cafe. Han Gyeol (Gong Yoo) is a smart guy who also owns a cafe. He doesn't like running the cafe business but still takes responsibility.
One day Han Gyeol met Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) who looked tomboyish. Eun Chan himself tries to work at Han Gyeol's cafe to fulfill his family's needs.
Coffee Prince is one of the Korean dramas in the 2000s which is famous as one of the triggers of the hallyu wave. His unique story played by well-known actors and actresses has made Coffee Prince successful in various parts of the world.
This project was also a turning point for the careers of its players. Gong Yoo, who is now much known to the public, as well as Lee Sun Gyu, who successfully became known to the world after starring in Parasite.
In the teaser video, MBC has not included a broadcast date for this documentary. But just hearing the news makes fans happy.
