Nurhayati Released From Corruption Suspect Status, SKPP Published By The Cirebon District Attorney
CIREBON - The District Attorney's Office (Kejari) of Cirebon Regency, West Java, issued a certificate of termination of prosecution (SKP2) for the suspect Nurhayati in connection with the corruption case.
"Today, we issued SKP2 to Nurhayati, for the sake of legal certainty, so that the suspect Nurhayati is released with the status of a suspect," said Head of the Cirebon District Attorney's Office, Hutamrin, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 1.
He said that after receiving the second stage of the Nurhayati case, his party carried out research on the case.
After further research, Hutamrin, the Kejari of Cirebon Regency, had not found any malicious intent from Nurhayati's actions, so SKP2 was issued.
According to him, after the SKP2 was issued, now officially Nurhayati is no longer a suspect for the corruption case committed by the former Head of Citemu Supriyadi Village.
"Based on the results of the study, we have not found any malicious intent against Nurhayati's actions," he said.
On the same day the Cirebon City Police handed over phase II for the Nurhayati case, so that the Cirebon District Attorney's Office could terminate the case.
Nurhayati's case itself began with a report by the Head of the Citemu Village BPD Lukman Nurhakim in 2020, related to a corruption case committed by the former Head of Citemu Village Supriyadi.
After an investigation was carried out by the Cirebon Police Satreskrim, former Citemu Village Head Supriyadi was named a suspect, and the file was handed over to the Cirebon Regency Kejari.
However, after doing research, the Kejari Cirebon Regency returned the Supriyadi case file to be reviewed and completed, after which Nurhayati, who is the Treasurer or Head of Finance of Citemu Village, was named a suspect.
In fact, the case was uncovered after Nurhayati reported Supriyadi's acts of corruption to the Head of the Citemu Village BPD.
