Nyepi Day, Bali Mandara Toll Road Closed For 32 Hours
BADUNG - Commemorating the Holy Day of Silence on the island of Bali, PT Jasamarga Bali Tol (JBT) temporarily closed the operation of the Bali Mandara Toll Road.
"It is hereby notified to the wider community, especially toll road users, that in the context of the celebration of the Holy Nyepi Day, and in order to participate in preserving cultural values and local wisdom, the operation of the Bali Mandara Toll Road will be temporarily closed," said the President Director of PT Jasamarga Bali. Toll I Ketut Adiputra Karang, in a written statement, Tuesday, March 1.
The operation of the Bali Mandara Toll Road as a whole is temporarily closed for 32 hours, starting on Wednesday, March 2 at 23.00 WITA and will reopen on Friday, March 4 starting at 07.00 WITA.
As in previous years, to honor the celebration of Hindu religious holidays in Bali, PT JBT institutionally always respects local wisdom. He also expressed his gratitude to all the people who supported the operation of the Bali Mandara Toll Road.
"On this auspicious occasion, we on behalf of the entire board of commissioners, directors and employees of PT Jasamarga Bali Tol wish you a happy Nyepi Day, Caka Year 1944. May peace and prosperity always be with us all," he said.
