The Body Of A Woman In Sungai Bolong Magelang Is Suspected To Be The Victim Of Murder

MAGELANG - The body of a woman found in the Balong River in Njurip Hamlet, Ngasem Village, Tegalrejo, Magelang Regency, Central Java, is suspected to be a murder victim.

Magelang Police Chief AKBP Mochammad Sajarod Zakun said there were allegations that the death toll was unnatural and that further investigation should be carried out.

"Based on the conditions at the scene of the crime and the condition of the victim when she was found, it is suspected that she died for a reason that is still being investigated. It doesn't just die," he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 1.

The victim's body has been picked up by the family and buried in Bekasi, West Java.

He said his party was conducting an investigation related to the existence of a place suspected of molesting the victim.

"Based on the autopsy results from the Central Java Police Biddokkes, there were injuries to the head due to a sharp object impact and injuries to the face due to a blunt object impact. We are continuing to investigate this," he said.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP M. Alfan Armin said that the results of collecting witness statements obtained information that the victim had said goodbye to his son and wanted to go to Yogyakarta with a man.

"The victim's child did not recognize the man. According to his statement, this was the first time he had met," he said.

Three witnesses in this case have been examined. The three people came from the family and witnesses who found the victim's body.

"This victim went with a man whose identity we do not know using the victim's motorbike and the victim's motorbike is still being searched," he said.

Previously, the Magelang Police revealed the identity of the female corpse found in the Bolong River, Njurip Hamlet, Ngasem Village, Tegalrejo District.

The victim has the initials RY (48), a resident of Mangunjaya, South Tambun, Bekasi Regency. The identity of the victim was revealed after the police conducted a fingerprint check.

The body was first discovered by Sukardi (45), a resident of Bungas Hamlet, Ngasem Village, Tegalrejo District. At that time, the witness was looking for grass and firewood on the banks of the Bolong River.
