Not Full, Ambulance Queue At Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran Waiting For Registration Turn
JAKARTA - The ambulance queuing at the entrance to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran, Jakarta, was not the result of a full condition.
Deputy Commander of the Integrated Joint Task Command (Kogasgabpad) RSD Wisma Athlete Brigadier General M Saleh, said queues like this are commonplace and due to the registration process.
This was conveyed by Saleh in response to the six-second video of an ambulance that was uploaded by netizens.
"It's not long. That's the registration list line," Saleh said when confirmed by reporters, Tuesday, September 14.
He explained that the number of COVID-19 patients referred to this emergency hospital was quite a lot. In a day, Saleh said, the number of patients referred from this Puskesmas could reach 100 people.
Returning to the matter of ambulance queues, Saleh said, the actual registration process did not take long. It's just that, for people without symptoms (OTG) currently constrained by limited facilities.
"(The registration process, red) does not take long. Only if the OTG has limited facilities, because the IGD is also narrow," said Saleh.
Previously, a netizen uploaded a video of a number of ambulances lined up in a long line in front of the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. In addition to showing ambulances lined up, the six-second video shows a number of people wearing white personal protective equipment (PPE).
The uploader of this video on Twitter, namely @tyarooo, said he got this video from a friend who was being referred to the hospital.

It's just that regarding the timing of the incident, he doesn't know any more details, but he confirmed it had just happened. "I don't know the exact hour, but the point is today," he said.
Previously, Minister of Health (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto guaranteed that DKI Jakarta was still able to treat COVID-19 patients. This assurance was obtained after the Minister of Health carried out unannounced inspections and checks directly into the field.
Currently, the number of beds available in isolation rooms for patients with moderate symptoms, emphasized that the ICU room is still a safe number. For the isolation room, from a total of 4,271 beds that are still vacant, there are currently 1,088.
To maintain availability, the government plans to add another 1,022 beds. "So that the total becomes 5,293 beds," he said.
As for the ICU room for patients with severe symptoms, currently the number has reached 584 beds and of that number 115 are still unoccupied.
"In the next few days, 138 ICU beds can be added to a total of 722 beds," he explained.
Meanwhile, for patients with mild symptoms, the government has prepared an Emergency Hospital for Wisma Atlet Kemayoran. There are two towers that have been prepared, namely Tower 6 and Tower 7.
"Tower 6 has 1746 beds, 888 of which have been filled, while Tower 7 has 2,472 just filled with 749," he explained.
"For those without symptoms, the self-isolating flat of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran has prepared two towers, namely Tower 4 and 5 each with 2742 beds. These are not filled, while Tower 5 is already filled with 81," he said.
